Who is Chukwunwike Enekwechi?

Chukwunwike Enekwechi was born and raised in Onitsha, Anambra state. After his primary education at Redemption model primary school, he attended Christ the King College Onitsha from 1997 to 2003.

Then in 2006, he was admitted to be trained for the Catholic Priesthood at Schoenstatt fathers community Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

As part of this training for Catholic priesthood, he served as an apostolic community organizer, youth director and social health worker in several states in Nigeria and West Africa. But after seeing the chaos between the unconsented peoples that were tied together as nations in Africa, he left the seminary in April 2013, in order to research for a foundational reform for Nigerian and African liberation.

Later, he went for the one year National Youth Service Corps program in Cross River state from 2014 to 2015, and was posted to serve as teacher at Pope John-Paul minor seminary, Okpoma, Yala local government area of Cross River state.

After serving with the NYSC, he got a scholarship to study Bioethics at the Department of Surgery, University College Hospital of the University of Ibadan in 2016. During his coursework at the University of Ibadan, he sought and got the permission of the then Vice Chancellor, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka, to form Restartnaija as a social research and enlightenment platform in 2016 with other scholars as research aides.

Together in the long-term research, they produced over 230 articles, YouTube videos in 6 Nigerian languages and several books.

In July 2024, he officially concluded the research for the reformation and liberation of Nigeria and Africa by publishing the two latest books from the long-term studies, which are “Philosophy of African Liberation” and “Intercultural liberty: an ideological shift from the Western Supremacy of individual liberty and Eastern absolutism of state liberty to the harmonious growth of intercultural liberty for Africa and other ethnic societies in a multicultural world”.

Currently, Chukwunwike is working with a group of young, intelligent and vibrant Nigerians towards the implementation of the results of this research for Nigerian and African liberation.
